De drie Jaggers

At the moment the 15th Art Fund Nyenrode exhibition is on view at Nyenrode: ‘Andy Warhol, the Business Artist’, with highlights from the PopArt collection of alumnus Lex Harding.

One of the silkscreens is really special for this collector; he bought it at an auction of the estate of writer Boudewijn Buch, at which several Warhols were for sale. This was the only original one, signed by Andy Warhol – the others were just prints. This special one was of Mick Jagger, also signed by the famous musician. As Lex is a fan of Boudewijn Buch, a fan of Mick Jagger ánd a fan of Andy Warhol, he felt he really needed to acquire this artwork. He managed to buy it, but don’t ask how! It can be seen in the stairwell of the Albert Heijn building at Nyenrode, together with two other Jaggers.

Even in this difficult Covid-19 period it will be possible to visit this extraordinary exhibition, but only in small corona-conscious groups and at the invitation of Art Fund Nyenrode. More information can be found on on how to join a small group for a guided tour, to view 33 original silkscreens, signed by Andy Warhol, exhibited in the Albert Heijn building. A colourful catalogue of 88 pages can be bought online at

The special exhibition will be on view at Nyenrode till the end of May 2021.
